My resolution coming off of awakening, the planning, the event, the love, the exhaustion? To remember the immense and overwhelming love I felt, not just for the retreatants and people around me in this case, but the immense joy and love for Christ that made me weep for joy and gratitude. I need to carry that with me when I go through periods of darkness, of despair, when I don’t feel like anything seems tangible or possible. And after serif what I was able to accomplish this weekend through Christ? I learned that I can do all things, through Christ who gives me strength. I need not fear situations, because if I am brought there through His work, there is a greater purpose, even of I see it later. I need to have confidence that He has a plan for me and will take care of me. I will fear no evil, for my God is with me :)
